About Our Speaker
Cagla Fenton is a Clinical Dietitian at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia specializing in ketogenic diet treatment for epilepsy and other neurological disorders. After earning her bachelors degree in Nutrition and Food science at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Cagla completed a dietetic internship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She started her career as a pediatric dietitian at CHOP, which is where she still works. Cagla has been a clinical dietitian at CHOP for 23 years and 18 of them have been with the ketogenic diet program. Cagla’s passion is in patient care, education and innovation.
Cagla is the author of several original scientific publications regarding Use of Breast Milk with the Ketogenic Diet, Benefits of a Ketogenic Teaching Kitchen in the Hospital and most recently, Homemade oil emulsion for use in formula feedings.
